:: Salesforce / Salesforce customization

Salesforce customization that fits how your team works

Out of the box, Salesforce fits nobody exactly. We change objects, layouts, automations and reports so the system matches your process, and we clear out the old customisations that slow everyone down. Mostly with configuration, with code only where it is needed.

Flow automation

Cleaner page layouts

Classic to Lightning migration

:: What we do

What we customize in Salesforce

Small, targeted changes usually beat a rebuild. We start with what your users complain about most.

01

Objects, fields and layouts

Custom objects, record types and page layouts that show each role only what it needs, with sensible required fields.

02

Flow automation

Approvals, assignments, reminders and record updates built in Flow, and old Workflow Rules and Process Builder moved over.

03

Reports and dashboards

Pipeline, forecast, service and activity dashboards your managers trust, built on fields people actually fill in.

04

Security and sharing

Profiles, permission sets, roles and sharing rules that keep data visible to the right people and no one else.

05

Classic to Lightning migration

We move remaining Classic users, buttons, JavaScript and Visualforce to Lightning, and fix what breaks along the way.

06

Org clean-up

Unused fields, duplicate automations and old Apex removed safely, so the org is faster and easier to change.

:: Examples

Salesforce customizations that save the most time

Good customization removes clicks and guesswork for one team at a time. These are the changes clients ask for most.

Sales

Guided deal stages

Stage-specific fields, required steps and approvals, so every rep follows the same process without a manual.

Service

Case routing and escalations

Cases assigned by product, region or priority, with automatic escalation when a deadline is close.

Finance

Discount and credit approvals

Approval paths based on deal size and margin, with the reasons stored on the record.

Operations

Dynamic forms and layouts

Pages that show only the fields that matter for each record type and stage.

Management

Reports leaders trust

Pipeline, forecast and service dashboards built on clean fields with clear definitions.

Compliance

Field history and validation

Validation rules and field tracking that stop bad data at the source and show who changed what.

:: Side by side

Configuration or custom code?

Most changes should be configuration. Here is how we decide.

:: Classic to Lightning

Classic to Lightning migration, step by step

Salesforce Classic gets no new features, and many orgs still have users, buttons or pages that depend on it. This is how we move them without disruption.

01

Run the readiness check

Salesforce’s Lightning Experience Readiness Check lists the features, buttons and pages that need work. We review it with you.

02

Fix JavaScript buttons and Visualforce

JavaScript buttons do not work in Lightning. We replace them with quick actions or Flows and check each Visualforce page.

03

Rebuild pages with Lightning App Builder

Record pages, home pages and apps designed per team, using dynamic forms so people see only what they need.

04

Move old automation to Flow

Workflow Rules and Process Builder are retired. We rebuild each rule in Flow, test it and switch the old one off.

05

Pilot with one team

One team switches first and tells us what slows them down. We fix it before everyone moves.

06

Switch everyone and turn Classic off

Short training for each team, then Lightning becomes the default and Classic access is removed.

:: How it works

How a customization project runs

Most customization work is done in two to six weeks.

Week 1

Review

We look at your org and talk to users, then list the changes that will save the most time.

Week 2

Design

A short spec for each change, agreed with you before anything is built.

Weeks 2 to 5

Build

Changes made in a sandbox, tested with a few real users, then deployed in small batches.

Final week

Handover

Updated documentation and a short walkthrough for your admin and team leads.

:: Cost and timeline

How much does Salesforce customization cost?

Typical prices for our customization work, based on senior admins and developers at $25 to $35 an hour.

Quick fixes

$5k – $10k

2 to 4 weeks

A focused set of layout, field, report and automation changes for one team.

Process rebuild

$10k – $30k

1 to 3 months

A full sales or service process redesigned, with Flow automation, approvals and dashboards.

Clean-up and migration

$15k – $40k

1 to 3 months

Org clean-up, Workflow and Process Builder moved to Flow, and the Classic to Lightning switch.

Cheaper than it looks

Customization usually pays back in time saved by every user, every day. We estimate the clicks and minutes saved per change, so you can rank requests by value.

What moves the price

Number of teams and processes

Old automation to replace

Custom code involved

Data clean-up needed first

Number of reports and dashboards

:: Org health

Does your org need a clean-up?

Years of quick changes leave orgs slow and fragile. Compare yours against this list.

A healthy Salesforce org

One automation tool per object, mostly Flow

Fields that are used and clearly named

Page layouts that differ by role and stage

Permission sets instead of dozens of profiles

Changes tested in a sandbox first

Documentation for every custom process

Signs it needs a clean-up

Hundreds of fields nobody fills in

Workflow Rules, Process Builder and Flow on the same object

Errors users have learned to ignore

Reports that disagree with each other

Only one person knows how things work
