:: Salesforce / Salesforce managed services

Salesforce managed services with a team that knows your org

Salesforce needs ongoing care: new users, broken automations, three releases a year and a steady list of requests. Our managed services give you a named admin and developer team for a fixed number of hours each month, so small jobs get done and big problems get caught early.

:: What we do

What our Salesforce managed services cover

One monthly plan instead of hiring a full-time admin, developer and architect.

01

Admin support

Users, permissions, fields, layouts, reports and dashboards changed on request, usually within one business day.

02

Development hours

Apex, Lightning Web Components and integration fixes from developers who already know your code.

03

Release readiness

Before each Salesforce release we test your key processes in a preview sandbox and fix what would break.

04

Monitoring and health checks

Regular checks on limits, failed automations, integration errors and security settings, with a short monthly report.

05

Small enhancements

A steady flow of improvements from your backlog, prioritised with you each month.

06

Training for new staff

Short sessions when people join or change roles, so the system keeps being used properly.

:: Plans and pricing

Salesforce managed services pricing

Plans are sized in hours per month, based on senior admins and developers at $25 to $35 an hour. You can change the hours as your needs change.

Essentials

$500 – $700

Per month, about 20 hours

Admin requests, user setup, small automation changes, release checks and a monthly health report.

Growth

$1k – $2.1k

Per month, about 40 to 60 hours

Everything in Essentials plus Flow and Apex changes, integration monitoring and a monthly planning call.

Dedicated team

$3k – $4.2k+

Per month, about 120 hours or more

A named admin and developer who know your org, for ongoing builds, integrations and larger improvements.

What is not included

Salesforce licences, third-party app fees and large new projects such as a new cloud or a major integration. Those are quoted separately so your monthly plan stays predictable.

What moves the price

Number of users and clouds

How many integrations need watching

Share of developer versus admin work

Custom code and its test coverage

How much change your teams ask for

:: Side by side

Managed services or an in-house admin?

Both work. The right one depends on how many requests you have and how varied they are.

:: Salesforce releases

What happens to your org three times a year

Salesforce updates every org in spring, summer and winter. Most updates are harmless, but some change how automations, security or old features behave. This is how we handle each release.

01

Read the release notes for your org

We list only the changes that affect the clouds, features and code you use, so nobody has to read hundreds of pages.

02

Test in a preview sandbox

Before the release reaches production, we run your key processes, automations and integrations in a sandbox on the new version.

03

Fix what breaks

Anything that fails, such as a Flow, an Apex test or an integration, is fixed and redeployed before release day.

04

Apply required updates

Salesforce enforces some security and platform updates on a deadline. We schedule them so they never surprise you.

05

Tell your users what is new

A short note on the new features that matter to each team, and which ones we recommend turning on.

:: How it works

How managed services start

Onboarding takes about two weeks, then the monthly rhythm begins.

Week 1

Onboard

Access, a review of your org and integrations, and a list of open issues and requests.

Week 2

Stabilise

Urgent fixes first, monitoring switched on and a ticket process your team can use.

Monthly

Deliver

Requests worked in priority order, with hours and progress visible to you at all times.

Quarterly

Review

A health check, release readiness results and a plan for the next quarter.

:: When to consider it

Do you need Salesforce managed services?

Managed services suit teams that rely on Salesforce every day but do not need, or cannot find, a full-time admin and developer.

What good support looks like

Requests handled in days, not months

A named team that knows your setup

Releases tested before they reach your users

Integrations monitored, with failures caught early

Changes documented and deployed through a sandbox

A monthly report of what was done and what is next

Signs you have outgrown ad-hoc help

A backlog of small requests nobody gets to

Your only admin has left or is overloaded

Changes are made straight in production

Automations fail and nobody notices for days

You pay for one-off fixes every month anyway

:: Why Sterling

What you can expect

A named team, not a ticket queue

Most admin requests done within one business day

Release testing before every Salesforce release

A monthly report on hours, fixes and risks

Unused hours discussed, not silently lost
